SMAG distributors meeting in Paris

The annual distributors meeting took place in Paris in March, 2015. 43 dealers fr om 15 countries of the world were presented at the event. During the business meetings Smag production in France has been presented wh ere both the newest Smag developments and improved equipment’s models have been shown. The distributors were introduced the further plans of Smag’s development. It was underlined that the mutual work of Smag and American company Spartanics has been performed successfully. These companies together have finalized the design of multi-functional E-cut system, which is used for the post press processing of the digitally printed production. A new E-cut system is equipped not only by a standard semi rotary die-cutting but also by a laser die-cutting module which is necessary in order to work with the digital process. It connects with the limitation of laser work on some materials. After that the printing press has become absolutely universal.

Further a new decision for the flat screen printing unit Galaxie Classic has been presented, which, since the moment of its appearance at the market in 1995, has recommended itself as the most successful module of screen printing concerning the quality of the produced production all over the world. A new development is already showing the best speed features saving the best quality.

Many successful projects were implemented by Smag company during 2014: label printing press with booklet – insert; a system for the producing of a coupon label; device for the inserting of RFID label; slitter rewinder complexes with the systems of total or selection inspection; rewinder-inspection systems, equipped by the digital printing systems. It’s a just small list of the equipment produced by Smag company.

Particular attention during the distributors meeting was devoted to the discussion of the forthcoming Label Expo 2015 exhibition. Smag company is preparing the presentation of the digital cold stamping printing which, according to the specialists’ opinion, will become the gap in the producing of high quality digital label. Many different techniques will be shown at the company’s booth. Every visitor will have a possibility to study new printing presses in details and to value the quality of their work.
